Popeyes’ Blackened Chicken Sandwich with no breading features a chicken breast marinated for 12 hours and seasoned with a blend of Cajun and Creole spice. Wendy’s Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich is made with fried mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce and aged Asiago cheese on a garlic-knot bun. Wendy’s also debuted a peppermint version of its classic Frosty dessert.
