Three more restaurant chains have filed for bankruptcy. Hawkers Asian Street Food, a 15-unit casual-dining chain out of Central Florida, said that a lender is trying to gain control of the company.

Meanwhile, two small chains in Northern California also filed for bankruptcy. Red Bay Coffee, an 8-unit coffee chain and roastery operation based in Oakland, filed earlier this month. Mary’s Pizza Shack, a 10-unit concept out of Sonoma, Calif., filed for Chapter 7.

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has pledged to eliminate the federal tip credit if she’s elected in November.

Chipotle has moved its test of two automated systems into actual restaurants.
