ANN ARBOR Mich. Domino’s Pizza has introduced a franchise program for U.S. military veterans that provides them with “significantly discounted business opportunities,” the chain said.
Domino’s program offers a $20,000 franchise fee discount, operational savings, rebates and training to qualified, honorably discharged veterans. Spouses of active military members also are eligible to open a franchise at the discounted costs.
The program is similar to one that Little Caesar Enterprises launched on Veterans Day last year. Little Caesars’ plan offers a $5,000 franchise fee discount for the first store and $5,000 credit on the initial equipment order. Disabled veterans are eligible for even more savings.
Both chains said they launched their programs to help veterans make a smooth transition to civilian life after leaving the military.
