OAK BROOK Ill. McDonald’s is inviting the public to go online to help select the top 10 singing employees and managers for the final round of competition in the second annual Voice of McDonald’s.
Voice of McDonald’s is a worldwide contest to recognize and reward the most talented singers from among the more than 1.6 million crewmembers and managers working in McDonald’s more than 30,000 restaurants worldwide, franchisor McDonald’s Corp. said.
The public can visit www.mcdonalds.com/voice until Dec. 10 to cast their votes for any of the 35 contestants who made it to the semifinals after competing in the first round against more than 3,600 McDonald’s staffers from 53 countries. Finalists will compete for a chance to win the $25,000 grand prize and be named the next Voice of McDonald’s at the company’s convention April 14-17 in Orlando, Fla.
The first-round performances were reviewed by a panel of judges with expertise in the music and talent industries and were evaluated on their singing ability, creativity and on-camera/stage presence.
