Del Frisco's Restaurant Group Inc. has named Brandon Coleman III to the newly created position of chief marketing officer, the company said Tuesday.
The Southlake, Texas-based operator said Coleman will lead the marketing strategy for DFRG’s three concepts: Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Sullivan's Steakhouse and Del Frisco’s Grille.
“As a dynamic and forward-thinking leader, we are confident that Brandon’s depth of knowledge and significant industry experience will make him the right fit for the role,” said Norman Abdallah, who was named CEO of DFRG in November, in a statement.
Coleman most recently served as CEO of Brava Partners, a management consulting firm he founded in 2014. Prior to that, he was chief marketing officer at consumer technology company Snapfinger Inc., and CMO at Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
He previously worked as vice president of marketing for Restaurants Unlimited Inc., the Seattle-based parent to the Palomino, Kinkaid’s and other restaurant brands.
“I have a passion for helping restaurant companies leverage strategic planning, customer-centric branding and digital innovation to achieve their business goals,” Coleman said. He added that Del Frisco’s is “a company I have always connected with because of its focus on creating a unique and memorable dining experience.”
Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group has 53 restaurants in 24 states and the District of Columbia.
