Jack in the Box Inc. has promoted Carol DiRaimo to chief investor relations and corporate communications officer, the company said Wednesday. The role is a new one to the company.
"Carol has been a trusted partner amongst our executive leadership team and board of directors. Her unique perspective, out-of-the-box thinking and unwavering passion for our business make her one of the most respected executives at the table," said chairman and CEO Lenny Comma.
DiRaimo had served as Jack in the Box vice president of investor relations and corporate communications since 2008. She has more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry and six years of experience in public accounting at Deloitte.
Before joining Jack in the Box, DiRaimo served as vice president of investor relations at Applebee’s International Inc.
San Diego-based Jack in the Box has more than 2,200 quick-service restaurants across 21 states and Guam.
In addition, the company operates and franchises 700 fast-casual Qdoba Mexican Eats units in 47 states, Washington, D.C., and Canada through a wholly-owned subsidiary.
