How North Carolina based full service pizza chain Brixx looks to offer value as it grows

President Scott Isaacs shares how elements like service and atmosphere give the concept a value equation as it looks to grow through franchising.

What menu category screams value more than pizza? Pizza chains have long been experts at bundling and discounts, not to mention rewards and loyalty. Visit the website of any of the biggest pizza players and you’ll immediately be confronted with a host of coupons to consider applying to your order.

But does that same value opportunity apply to the full-service pizza category? Scott Isaacs, president of the 20-unit, Charlotte, N.C.-based concept Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, joined the latest episode of Take-Away with Sam Oches to talk about how the brand leans into food quality, service, and atmosphere as part of its value equation.

In this conversation, you’ll learn more about why:

  • Smart operations plus healthy finances equal a strong brand
  • All we’re going to talk about this year is value, value, value
  • You should raise prices because you have to, not because you can
  • The next generation might have a different definition of value and you need to adapt
  • Food, service, and atmosphere are three critical ingredients to loyalty
