CARROLLTON Texas Quick-service Mexican food chain owner Taco Bueno Restaurants, based here, has agreed to use in its 160 company-owned units the MenuLink.NET back-office application from Radiant Systems Inc.

"Taco Bueno Restaurants chose MenuLink because of Radiant's demonstrated customer focus, the breadth of the MenuLink installed base and its integration options," said Jay Reed, TBR's vice president of information technology. He also indicated that his growing chain was attracted to MenuLink's food cost reporting capabilities, centralized database, report scheduling and large selection of reports, among other features.

Officials of Alpharetta, Ga.-based Radiant Systems said MenuLink will integrate with Taco Bueno¹s point-of-sale system to automatically capture and consolidate data from all corporate stores. In addition to being used in MenuLink¹s nearly 200 reports, the data handled by the back-office program can be exported to enterprise applications, such as payroll and general ledger, they added.
