Domino’s franchisee leverages POS tech with add-on

SANTO DOMINGO Dominican Republic Domino’s Pizza Dominican Republic is using Servant Systems’ software to aggregate and analyze multi-store data from the Pulse point-of-sale system used by most Domino’s restaurants, the vendor said.

Pulse is a proprietary POS and in-restaurant technology platform developed by Domino’s Pizza Inc. of Ann Arbor, Mich. DPI is franchisor of the Domino’s Pizza chain, with about 500 company-run and 4,600 franchised outlets in the United States and nearly 3,650 licensed branches overseas.

 

According to Servant, the Pulse Franchise Office System software being used by 26-unit, Santo Domingo-based DPDR supports multi-store-performance analysis, e-mail report distribution and integration of store-level data with enterprise applications, such as payroll and general ledger. The Ann Arbor-based technology firm said DPDR, in using the Pulse add-on, joints 20 U.S. franchisee groups, fielding about 600 restaurants in all.
