You can find the more traditional Mexican michelada at Rick Bayless' dual-spaced Mexican-cuisine concepts Topolobampo and Frontera Grill in Chicago. However, the restaurant also serves a lighter sweeter twist on the beer cocktail, known as the Sparkling Passion, on its seasonal beverage menu. The drink is made with passion fruit puree, fresh lime juice and a concentrated brew of sweet hibiscus tea and gets an additional shot of flavor and effervescence from a German wheat beer.
