Sonic Corp. is adding sweet potato tots and popcornfor a limited time at its drive-in restaurants nationwide, the company said Monday.
Oklahoma City, Okla.-based Sonic, which has long offered regular potato tots, is one of the first quick-service chains to offer the sweet potato version.
“Everyone is talking about sweet potatoes as a trend, but few are putting unique offerings on their menus,” said Clas Petersson, Sonic’s new vice president of product and packaging. "Sonic is excited to offer its guests such a distinctive food flavor.”
