Smashburger plans more growth

CHICAGO Smashburger, the Denver-based, fast-casual “better burger” restaurant concept said Wednesday that another franchisee agreement has been inked, for 11 locations in the Chicago area. The company recently signed two Dallas Cowboys as franchisees, and this Chicago agreement brings the number of planned Smashburgers for the next five years to more than 200 units.
