2016 restaurant trends: Delivery disruptors, ‘clean’ menus, more

Health and nutrition are on many consumers’ minds, but that won’t keep them away from fried chicken, according to Baum & Whiteman, an international food and restaurant consulting firm based in New York City, which recently released its predictions for 2016 food and beverage trends.

The firm said it also expects the cured Hawaiian seafood dish poke to gain wider national acceptance, while new approaches to delivery will disrupt foodservice.
