Texas Roadhouse created its fast casual Jaggers brand in 2014. At the time, the company’s late founder Kent Taylor said he wanted it to be a “place that would have better burgers than Five Guys, and serve chicken tenders and sandwiches that could compete with Raising Cane’s and Chick-fil-A.”

Since then, Jaggers has grown to more than a dozen locations, including its first international location at the Camp Humphreys military base in South Korea. Texas Roadhouse executives have shared that they plan to continue growing the concept, leveraging that menu with two high-demand products in burgers and chicken, as well as hand-spun milkshakes, tater tots, and fresh salads with homemade dressings.

Jaggers’ scratch-made burgers include options like the Crazy Good Cheeseburger, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Green Chile Cheeseburger, and Sunrise Burger (with two beef patties, American cheese, ham, a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, and onion). The concept’s chicken sandwich lineup features six options, from California Grilled Chicken to Country Fried Chicken.

Despite the smaller format, much of parent company Texas Roadhouse’s DNA is evident at Jaggers, from the scratch-made menu and abundant portions to the lively dining room.
