Some celebrities’ roles in our society seem simply to be famous. They don’t necessarily do much more than engage in attention-grabbing activities, but that’s enough to keep them in the limelight.
Is there any reason for chain restaurants not to make use of their fame? Well, maybe, but hey, if Sonic Drive-In wants to collaborate on drinks with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, who’s to stop them?
And if influencer and boxer Jake Paul wants to open a Dog Haus franchise and invent a sauce with a problematic name for new menu items, well, there’s probably no lasting harm. And maybe the new items taste good.
Meanwhile, Jollibee has several new frozen drinks, Sonny’s Barbecue has wintertime specials, and TooJays Deli has a bunch of menu items inspired by New York City.
Yampa Sandwich company is drawing inspiration from Philadelphia for one of its seasonal specials, but rather than go the more typical cheesesteak route, it’s focusing on a lesser known but arguably more beloved sandwich of roast pork with provolone cheese.
Pizza Inn now stuffs its dessert pizza, aka a Pizzert, with chocolate fudge, Big Biscuit and Biscuit Belly each have two sweet seasonal specials, and Velvet Taco’s Weekly Taco Feature is inspired by chicken pot pie.
