22 restaurant executives on the move in June, including leaders at McDonald’s, Domino’s, and Little Caesars

4 chains got new CEOs last month, while 2 industry veterans announced retirements

The month of June saw 22 restaurant executives take new roles or announce retirements, including new CEOs at Tijuana Flats, Cornerstone Restaurant Group, TooJay’s, and Condado Tacos.

A McDonald’s executive who has been with the company for 30 years announced his upcoming retirement, and his successor, who has been with McDonald’s since 2014, has already been appointed. The founder of Cornerstone Restaurant Group is also set to retire after a similar tenure, handing the reins of that company off to his son.

Some companies have appointed multiple new executives, with emerging chain Bad Ass Coffee naming directors of franchise marketing and brand engagement, and Little Caesars’ parent company promoting three technology leaders to new roles.

At Domino’s, there’s a new chief human resources officer; at Shake Shack, a new chief operating officer; and at Rusty Taco, a new president.
