New rewards program allows fans to earn free food after reaching 250 points; top Taco Bell spenders earn more points per purchase, and get expanded perks

Taco Bell was one of the first quick-service chains in the industry to introduce a modern app in 2014. The following year, the brand launched a rewards game called Taco Bell Explorer, where fans could sync their social-media platforms, such as Instagram, to the Taco Bell app.
