Bojangles Inc., the quick-service chicken and biscuits restaurant brand, is continuing to expand its catering options, now offering first-party individual catering at many of its locations, a spokesperson said Wednesday.

The catering offerings are offered through the brand’s website and the technology is backed by Olo, the Charlotte, N.C.-based company said.

This is Bojangles’ venture into first-party catering, offering catering directly on the Bojangles website and not exclusively through its third-party partner, ezCater, a spokesperson said. About 70% of the restaurants systemwide offering catering, with more restaurants to begin offering it by the end of the year.

Delivery is available. It’s free on orders of $150 or more. Orders below that threshold will come with a price that will vary by order and location.

Bojangles in the summer began offering corporate catering through ezCater.

Customers will now be able to order catering directly through the website at participating restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The catering menu includes a variety of favorites, from breakfast items like biscuits and Bo Rounds, to staple lunch and dinner items like chicken, sandwiches, and iced tea.

To celebrate the launch, Bojangles is introducing “Bo Time Moments,” a new feature on the catering launch page where fans can make the case for why Bojangles should cater their next get-together. The portal invites customers to share personal stories of how the chicken and biscuits chain has been part of their favorite celebrations.

“At Bojangles, we believe that great food makes life’s best moments even better,’ Eric Stepp Sr., off-premises and catering manager at Bojangles, said in a statement. “With the launch of our catering services and the ‘Bo Time Moments’ campaign, we’re able to bring our signature flavors to every occasion. Our goal is to make it effortless for our customers to share the joy of Bojangles wherever they gather.’”

Bojangles, founded in 1977, has about 800 restaurants.
