Behind the growth: Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc.’s Taco Cabana third-quarter same-store-sales growth of 12.2 percent bettered the latest-reported-quarters performances of all systems tracked by Nation’s Restaurant News. Taco Cabana’s latest number lapped year-earlier double-digit negative comps largely resulting from Hurricane Irma, and all but 0.1 percent of its latest-quarter’s growth came from higher check average.
