PLANO Texas Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, an 80-unit quick-service chain, said it has promoted Ian Vaughn to the new post of chief operating officer.
Vaughn most recently served as Raising Cane’s senior vice president of operations, overseeing corporate locations and supporting the franchise network.
“Ian has been an exceptional leader for our organization, championing our brand and our culture,” said Todd Graves, founder and chief executive of Raising Cane’s.
Vaughn joined Raising Cane’s seven years ago as a shift manager in Baton Rouge, La. He was promoted to general manager and later became the chain's first official “training GM." Vaughn even proposed to his wife at the opening of one of the chain's restaurants when he was a general manager.
“Ian is that rare individual whose passion for our crew, culture and communities is matched by his leadership and management," Graves said. "He tackles and perfects every responsibility he is given."
Raising Cane’s, founded in 1996 in Baton Rouge, has restaurants in 13 states.
