The Cheesecake Factory Inc. this year is undertaking a number of new marketing initiatives, including taking reservations through the review platform Yelp, the company said Wednesday.
The Calabasas Hills, Calif.-based company has taken some reservations in the in the past few weeks and has offered limited reservations across all U.S. restaurants, said David Gordon, Cheesecake president, in a fourth-quarter earnings call.
“One of the biggest hurdles for our guests can be our long wait times,” Gordon said. “So we're hoping this additional convenience will encourage guests who are more pressed for time to dine with us.
