Former LiveOne financial chief will succeed Scott Bowman in position on Jan.
Dave & Buster's Entertainment Inc. has named Michael Quartieri as chief financial officer, the company announced Wednesday.
The Dallas-based big-box entertainment operator in November had announced the departure of CFO Scott Bowman. Quartieri will assume the position on Jan. 1, the company said.
Quartieri, left, previously served as CFO and corporate secretary at LiveOne, a platform for live-streamed and on-demand audio, video and podcast/vodcast content in music and comedy. Prior to LiveOne, Quartieri was CFO at Scientific Games, a provider of products, systems and services to the lottery and pari-mutuel industries.
Quartieri will lead Dave & Buster’s finance, accounting and supply chain divisions, as well as oversee the company’s investor relations.
“Michael joins us at a great time,” said Kevin Sheehan, Dave & Buster’s chairman and interim CEO, said in a statement. “Michael’s financial expertise, strong track record for growth and engaging style will no doubt help to fuel our momentum, and we are excited to welcome him to our team.”
Quartieri added: “I look forward to adding my expertise to the talented group of team members throughout the organization. I see tremendous opportunity at Dave & Buster’s and am pleased to help lead the company’s next phase of growth.”
Dave & Buster’s, founded in 1982, owns and operates 144 venues in North America, including 40 states, Puerto Rico and Canada.
