DALLAS Brinker International Inc. and Regal Entertainment Group of Knoxville, Tenn., have teamed up to offer dinner and a movie to convenience-minded consumers. The new $50 “movie and a meal” promotion includes a $25 gift card to be used at any of Brinker’s casual-dining concepts and a $25 Regal movie gift card. The bundled cards are available nationwide at such retail outlets as Walmart, Longs, Raley's and Duane Reade.

The restaurant card can be used at any Brinker concept, including Chili's Grill & Bar, Romano's Macaroni Grill, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, and Maggiano's Little Italy restaurants. The movie card can be redeemed at Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres.

“A gift card is as much about the experience as it is convenience, and with the new movie and a meal package we are providing an added value to our guests' busy lives,” said Doug Brooks, Brinker’s president and chief executive.

Dallas-based Brinker operates or franchises more than 1,700 restaurants.
