Denny’s Corp. is partnering with the movie “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” as it returns its $2-$4-$6-$8 menu, the company said Wednesday.
The Spartanburg, S.C.-based family-dining brand said the $2-$4-$6-$8 Value Menu would be accompanied by a special Afterlife Menu. The restaurant offerings begin Wednesday, and the movie debuts Sept. 6.
“Bringing back the $2-$4-$6-$8 Value Menu with innovative new dishes and launching the new Afterlife Menu allows us to offer our guests great food at unbeatable prices, as they immerse themselves in the scary-delicious world of ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,’" Patty Trevino, Denny’s chief brand officer, said in a statement.
"Whether you're a Beetlejuice superfan or simply looking for delicious, affordable options, we’re confident there’s something on the menus for everyone to fill their cravings – without emptying their wallets,” Trevino said.
Denny’s $2-$4-$6-$8 Value Menu, which the brand has marketed in the past, now also offers $10 options.
For $2, customers can add two buttermilk pancakes or two slices of brioche French toast to any meal.
For $4, they can add cheesecake, plain or with strawberry topping, or two Choconana pancakes stuffed with chocolate chips and topped with fresh bananas and chocolate chips.
For $6, customers can add all-you-can-eat pancakes or an Everyday Value Slam with two pancakes, French toast or biscuits and gravy with two eggs and bacon or sausage.
The $8 level offers the option of a grilled-cheese sandwich with soup or salad or a classic burger and fries.
Starting at $10, customers have the option of a loaded breakfast sandwich bundle, chicken tenders with fries, or a fried chicken house salad.
The limited-time Afterlife Menu includes, for $8.99, the new Say it Three Times Slam, which offers three eggs and bacon with three silver dollar chocolate chip pancakes topped with vanilla cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, and green sprinkles.
Other items include the triple-cheese Afterlife Melt sandwich with fried mozzarella sticks and tomato sauce for dipping, the Beetlejuicy Burger, and a Cookies ‘N’ Scream Shake.
The Beetlejuice-inspired menu items are available through Oct. 29.
As of June 26, Denny’s had 1,541 restaurants, 1,477 of which were franchised and licensed restaurants and 64 of which were company operated.
