It’s official. Chipotle Mexican Grill is now based in one of the most expensive real estate properties in Southern California.

Chipotle leaders have landed in CEO Brian Niccol’s home turf in Newport Beach, Calif. Company spokeswoman Laurie Schalow said the “entire leadership team has relocated and are now based in Southern California.” 

The goal was to have the team, including herself, make the move by Labor Day.

The relocation of the brand’s top executives come about a month before Chipotle said it would have a “total facility closure” of its headquarters in Denver, according to a filing made this summer with the Colorado Labor and Employment department.
