Chipotle Mexican Grill is re-releasing some merch that previously went viral. Starting Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. PT, the burrito/bowl brand will drop its “All I Want is Chipotle” holiday bundle, featuring niche products for the biggest fans.
Included is a napkin holder made of vegan cactus leather ($20), which can clip onto a car visor; a cilantro-scented bar of soap ($10), a goof on the “soapy” taste that people with a variation of the OR6A2 gene experience when eating the herb; and a “water” cup candle ($28) which is scented like lemonade, as some customers “accidentally” fill the free water cups with lemonade. Customers can also get all three in the holiday bundle for $50.
The items have all previously been released and quickly sold out, with the soap first appearing in 2021, the candle in 2022, and the napkin holder in 2023.
"Over the years, we've seen these limited edition merch drops sell out in a matter of minutes or hours and pop up on resale websites for up to five times their retail price," said Chris Brandt, chief brand officer at Chipotle, in a statement. "Now we are giving our superfans a second chance to get their hands on these coveted products that they helped inspire."
Additionally, Chipotle Rewards members in the U.S. can try to win the "All I Want Is Chipotle" bundle through the Rewards Exchange on the Chipotle app and website by using their points to enter the giveaway. Chipotle is also offering new holiday-themed gift cards, both physical and virtual.
