Taco Bell is testing a third flavor for its popular Doritos Locos Taco line that’s based on its chile-lime flavored Flamas chips.
Last week the Irvine, Calif.-based chain passed the milestone of selling 200 million Doritos Locos Tacos, making it the most successful product launch in the company’s history, said Rob Poetsch, spokesman for parent company Yum! Brands Inc. The original version of the item is based on Doritos Nacho Cheese flavored chips.
