Chain's new burger the second to reference founder Dave Thomas

Wendy’s said it is testing another big burger, called the D.T. Double, that pays tribute to its late founder, Dave Thomas.
Spokesman Denny Lynch confirmed the quick-service chain is testing the D.T. Double in Austin, Texas, and Providence, R.I. The sandwich features a Big Mac-like structure of two beef patties, two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions and a “signature sauce.”
An online report from the blog GrubGrade said the sandwich was selling for $2.49 in Providence, but Lynch would not confirm the price.
Wendy's also invoked the memory of its founder with the test of Dave’s Hot ’N Juicy cheeseburgers in Las Vegas. The chain is supporting the test of the more premium burgers with commercials starring Thomas’ daughter, Wendy.
