Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. will unveil its spring menu systemwide on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and it will feature items from cookie-stuffed pancakes to shrimp skillets.

The Lebanon, Tenn.-based family-dining brand offered influencers and media a chance to sample the new items during events in Phoenix, Ariz., and Allen, Texas, this week.

The company this week also announced a limited-time promotion to counter egg surcharges announced at competing family-dining concepts like Waffle House.

A Cracker Barrel spokesperson said, “At Cracker Barrel, country hospitality is as important to us as a hearty breakfast – and that means not charging extra for eggs. … We know our guests already have a lot on their plates, so we’ll just stay focused on serving up plates of delicious food at incredible value.”

The company, founded in 1969, has 660 company-owned Cracker Barrel locations in 44 states and own the fast-casual Maple Street Biscuit Co.
