Industry veterans’ Drink House Holdings buys majority interest in Arkansas-based concept

Industry veterans Jamie Coulter and Jimmy John Liautaud are behind a new company that has made a majority investment in the nine-unit Arkansas-based Seven Brew Drive-Thru Coffee concept, the companies said Tuesday.

Fayetteville, Ark.-based Brew Culture, which does business as Seven Brew, also said it would be launching a franchise program after the investment by Jackson, Wyo.-based Drink House Holdings, which is led by Coulter, founder of Lone Star Steak House and Pizza Hut franchisee, and Liautaud, founder of the Jimmy John’s Sandwich chain.

"We believe the drive-thru category is ripe for reinvention and rapid growth, and we’re well positioned to disrupt and lead," said Liautaud in a statement. "We admire the Brew Crew’s passion toward fearlessly exploring new ideas, ingredients and connections that help us learn more about ourselves, each other and our communities.”

Seven Brew, founded in 2019, has drive-thru locations in Arkansas communities of Bentonville, Lowell, Rogers and Springdale as well as one in Joplin, Mo.

"We believe that the combination of Drink House Holdings’ industry resources and expertise, as well as our global brand-building experience, will help us to grow Seven Brew into a category leader, while remaining true to the original mission of the brand," said Coulter of DHH.

Seven Brew’s menu offers hot and iced coffee beverages, blended shakes and smoothies, sodas, teas, chai teas and matcha lattes. Prices range from $2.50 to $7, with additions offered as up-charges.

“Drink House Holdings understands the goals, vision and core values of Seven Brew and those remain the same — to cultivate and expand our unique company culture and dedication to our people, customers and local communities,” said Evan Grisham, president and director of franchising for Seven Brew.

Jimmy John’s was acquired by Atlanta-based Inspire brands in 2019.
