A look at Golden Chain winner Sam Fox’s innovations at Fox Restaurant Concepts

Sam Fox will receive the leadership award at October’s MUFSO conference

Sam Fox, whose restaurants have drawn the interest of big restaurant companies, has been named to the 2019 class of Nation’s Restaurant News Golden Chain Award winners. The others will be announced in the coming weeks.

The annual Golden Chain Awards celebrate the best in the restaurant industry — those who are running industry-leading operations, mentoring top teams and creating opportunities for others.

The 2019 award winners will be celebrated during a gala at Nation’s Restaurant News’ Multi-Unit Foodservice Operators conference, scheduled for Oct. 14 to 16 in Denver. The winners will also participate in a leading CEO panel at the event.

sam-fox-fox-restaurant-concepts.pngFox founded Phoenix-based Fox Restaurant Concepts in 1998 and has created such brands as Flower Child, North Italia, Sauce Pizza & Wine and True Food Kitchen as well as expanded concepts like The Henry. A newer creation, Doughbird Pizza & Rotisserie, tackles poultry.

Here’s a look at some of his visionary concepts that have earned him spots on the NRN Power List as well as the Golden Chain honor.
