Dunkin’ has expanded its breakfast options with tacos, available starting March 22.
The new item is made with scrambled eggs, melted sharp white cheddar cheese, roasted corn, and lime crema in a flour tortilla at a suggested price of $2.59. Crumbled bacon can be added for around 40 cents.
They are served in a special taco holder to enhance their portability.
"Our culinary team has expertly crafted these breakfast tacos with the vibrancy of spring in mind, delivering a taste sensation that can be enjoyed any time of the day — not just for breakfast," Dunkin’ chief marketing officer Jill McVicar Nelson said in a release announcing the new item. "These tacos are undoubtedly one of the tastiest savory items we've launched at Dunkin'. We're thrilled for guests to try them and discover their new favorite meal to fuel their day, whether they're looking for a delicious breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack."
The breakfast tacos will be available through early summer.
Although this is Dunkin‘s first major food rollout of the year, the chain did introduce Valentine’s Day specials in early February, including heart-shaped brownie butter and strawberry doughnut, mocha and brown butter lattes, and a strawberry dragon fruit “refresher,” which is iced green tea with B vitamins added, plus strawberry dragon fruit flavor.
Dunkin’ also had month-long specials that ended March 21, including a St. Patrick’s Day themed Irish cream flavored coffee, a carrot cake muffin, a chocolate croissant and caramel chocolate cold brew.
Dunkin’ is a subsidiary of Atlanta-based Inspire Brands and franchises more than 12,600 locations in 40 countries.
