Taco Bell is extending its Luxe Box value offerings to include $5 and $9 options, on top of the $7 deal introduced in late June.

The new Luxe Cravings Boxes will be available starting Jan. 16 through early June and complement the chain’s permanent Cravings Value Menu featuring a variety of items under $3. The lineup includes:

  • $5 Classic Luxe Cravings Box: Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and medium fountain drink

  • $7 Supreme Luxe Cravings Box: Chicken Chalupa Supreme, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Chips & Nacho Cheese Sauce, and a medium fountain drink

  • $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box: Featuring a rotating new menu item, Doritos Locos Tacos, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink. Taco Bell calls the $9 Discovery Box a “game changer,” allowing fans the chance to try new items on a rotating basis.

“Now more than ever, consumers are looking for ways to get more value without compromising quality and choice — and that’s exactly where the Luxe Cravings Boxes shine,” chief marketing officer Taylor Montgomery said in a statement. “Value means something different to everyone, and we think it should feel like a luxury everyone can afford.”

Ahead of the Jan. 16 launch, Taco Bell is also offering in-app exclusives for Rewards members, including “Manifestmas,” through Jan. 13, in which members can share what they’re manifesting through an in-app poll, resulting in a different reward to make it a reality. Rewards include two Cravings Value Menu items for the price of one, a $5 Cantina Chicken Bowl, free 2-piece Cinnabon Delights with a $5 minimum purchase, free Crunchy or Soft Taco with a $5 minimum purchase, or a 50-cent medium fountain drink.

Also, through Jan. 12, Taco Bell’s Delivery Lover’s Pass is available exclusively for Rewards members and includes 30 days of no delivery fees.

Taco Bell’s Luxe Box announcement comes on the same day as McDonald’s McValue platform launch and illustrates that the intensifying value environment from 2024 is continuing into 2025. Although there were signs of traffic and sales improvement toward the end of the third quarter and into the fourth quarter, many chains have doubled down on value offerings in the first few days of the New Year, including KFC, Subway, Applebee’s, Wayback Burgers, Del Taco, Wendy’s, Friendly’s, Checkers and Rally’s, and more.
