Four new snack flavors include popcorn and slushie
Krispy Kreme Inc. and the streaming service Hulu have partnered for four new doughnuts inspired by the cinema snack bar, the company said Monday.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based doughnut company said the new Krispy Kreme x Hulu flavors include popcorn and slushie.
“This first-ever collaboration with Hulu lets our fans enjoy their favorite movie snack flavors with their favorite doughnut while streaming their favorite movie. That’s a good night,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s chief growth officer, said in a statement.
They are available now for a limited time, the company said. The flavors include:
The Blue Raspberry Slush Doughnut features Krispy Kreme’s original glazed version that is dipped in blue raspberry-flavored icing and includes blue sugar.
The Caramel Popcorn Doughnut is an unglazed shell doughnut filled with caramel popcorn-flavored filling, dipped in white icing and caramel popcorn, and topped with red icing drizzle.
The Cookie Dough Superstar Doughnut is an unglazed shell doughnut filled with chocolate “butterkreme”-flavored filling, dipped in chocolate-flavored icing, and topped with gold glitter sprinkles and cookie dough bites.
The Candy Double Feature Doughnut features a glazed doughnut dipped in white icing, topped with milk chocolate candy pieces and mini milk chocolate chips, and drizzled with chocolate-flavored icing.
The Krispy Kreme x Hulu doughnuts are available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s smartphone app and website, individually and by the dozen.
Krispy Kreme is also offering customers a chance to win a one-year Hulu subscription. For information, visit krispykreme.com/promos/moviesnacks/giveaway.
