Bravo Brio Restaurant Group Inc. has named Diane Reed chief financial officer, the company said Monday.

This is the second go-round at Bravo Brio for Reed, who had been executive vice president of finance for Frisch’s Restaurants since 2016. Before that, Reed was vice president of finance and chief accounting officer for Columbus, Ohio-based Bravo Brio.

“Diane was an incredible asset to our company for nearly a decade and was sorely missed during her absence,” Bravo Brio CEO Brian O’Malley said in a statement. “She is an accomplished executive who knows our business extremely well and is therefore ideally suited to lead our finance team.”

Reed replaces James O’Connor, who resigned last month.

Reed has also worked with Wendy’s International, Nationwide Insurance and Donatos Pizza during her career.

She takes over finance for the operator of Bravo Cucina Italiana and Brio Tuscan Grille struggling with weak same-store sales and traffic. The company operates 50 Bravo locations and 63 Brio units.
