CiCi’s Pizza opened a new restaurant Monday in Murphy, Texas, showcasing elements the buffet chain plans to incorporate in future restaurants.

Coppell, Texas-based CiCi’s said the new company-owned outlet incorporates a dedicated to-go entrance and register area, expanded menu boards to highlight catering options, new finishes, new uniforms for the staff, an extended buffet line and happy-hour pricing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The 4,000-square-foot restaurant is located in a strip shopping center in the Dallas suburb.

Customers lined up on opening day to be among the first 100 adult guests to win a free pizza buffet a month for a year. The company also dropped hundreds of wallets in the area with coupons for a free buffet.

The location’s new happy hour pricing, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., offers an adult buffet for $3.99. The lunch buffet, which is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., is priced at $4.99, while the dinner buffet is $5.49.

The to-go and catering menu also highlights special prices to accommodate orders for one to 100 pizzas or more.
