Corporate America often gets a bad rap for its capitalistic ways, but a group of restaurant operators is looking to change that by making sure the money their companies make also benefits the causes and communities they serve.
In the spirit of what is being called “connected capitalism,” “conscious capitalism” or “creative capitalism,” both restaurant operators and suppliers are finding ways to align employee values and business interests with the greater good.
