LEBANON Tenn. CBRL Group Inc. today named Ketchum as public relations agency of record for the company’s 559-unit Cracker Barrel Old Country Store chain.
Ketchum’s Atlanta-based brand marketing group will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives to drive customer traffic into the restaurants and promote the variety of products in the restaurants’ gift shops.
The agency was chosen because of its “successful track record of providing strategic counsel and fresh insights relevant to the food-industry landscape,” according to Diana S. Wynne, Cracker Barrel’s senior vice president of corporate affairs.
