The 18-unit Fresh City chain of Needham Heights, Mass., and most of the stores in the 55-unit Pizza Boli’s chain franchised by Prosperity Systems Inc. of Baltimore, Md., are using ONOSYS Online Ordering 3.0 for Internet food orders, the vendor said.

Representatives of Cleveland-based ONOSYS said version 3.0 includes a nutritional information guide and other new features, such as a catering module and better tools to help client chains create a distinctive online brand presence. They said it also includes enhanced up-selling capabilities and support for store, regional and headquarters employees to manipulate menu items and view performance metrics.

Larry Reinstein, chief executive of Fresh City parent Fresh Concepts Inc., said ONOSYS was “more cost effective” than competitors scrutinized by his organization. He added that the nutritional information links supported by version 3.0 “are a great fit for our brand,” and that he appreciates that ONOSYS “understands the importance of anticipating customers’ needs and developing unique solutions to fill those needs.”
