SAN DIEGO In an ongoing move to increase franchise ownership, Jack in the Box Inc. has signed an agreement with a veteran franchisee to open 10 restaurants in Albuquerque, N.M.

Franchisee Laura Olguin, who currently operates 28 restaurants in Arizona, is scheduled to open the first of the Albuquerque units late next year.

Jack in the Box, based here, operates or franchises more than 2,100 namesake quick-service restaurants in 17 states, as well as the more than 370-unit Qdoba Mexican Grill chain. The company also is parent to the Quick Stuff convenience store chain.
