Today, almost 16 years after the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance, or MFHA, was founded, it’s hard to find a restaurant or foodservice company that does not pay some attention to diversity and inclusion in its workforce.
MFHA is happy to take some of the credit for the progress that has been made in foodservice diversity. We have worked hard to take our industry from building awareness of multicultural issues 16 years ago to focusing on solutions today. However, we have much more to do, especially in helping restaurateurs find and fix the things that are missing in their diversity programs.
