DALLAS —Quick-service operators are expected to attend an inaugural workforce conference here later this month hosted by People Report, a research firm that tracks human resources practices in the restaurant industry.

The Workforce Symposium, to be held June 26-27 at the Las Colinas Marriott Hotel, will feature such speakers as professor and author Jerry Newman, who wrote about working undercover in fast-food chains in “My Secret Life on the McJob,” and Las Vegas chef-author Jeff Henderson, whose memoir detailed his life story as a former drug addict turned fine-dining chef. —Quick-service operators are expected to attend an inaugural workforce conference here later this month hosted by People Report, a research firm that tracks human resources practices in the restaurant industry.
