IRVINE Calif. Taco Bell plans to award tickets to the college football national championship game Jan. 7 between Ohio State University and Louisiana State University and to three other BCS bowl games as part of its “Best Seats in the House” sweepstakes.
One winner will receive Taco Bell’s seats at the 50-yard line at the championship game and tickets to a choice of three other games, including the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.; the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans; the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in Glendale Ariz., and the FedEx Orange Bowl in Miami.
The winner also will receive behind-the-scenes access during the pregame show of the championship game and meet with the Fox Sports broadcast team.

Troy Smith, the 2006 Heisman Trophy winner and the starting quarterback for Ohio State in last year’s championship game, will serve as Taco Bell’s spokesman in the promotion.
