CINCINNATI The 61-unit LaRosa’s pizzeria chain has promoted Mark LaRosa to president and chief culinary officer after naming his brother Michael chief executive earlier this year.

The promotions put a second generation of LaRosas in control of the chain, which was founded by Mark and Michael’s father, Buddy.

Mark LaRosa was previously executive vice president of food and product development. In his new role, the Culinary Institute of America graduate remains responsible for developing new menu items. The bill of fare currently include 40 items.

ALaRosa’s statement said the chain, whose units are concentrated in Ohio, southeastern Indiana and northern Kentucky, generates annual sales of $130 million.
