MIAMI Seth MacFarlane, the creator of the “Family Guy” TV show, reportedly has created ads for Burger King Corp. that will appear on an online series called “Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy."
The show will be syndicated through Google’s AdSense program to various websites that appeal to a young male audience, according to a report in The New York Times. MacFarlane created Burger King ads that will appear ahead of video clips playing in the show. One ad shows “menacing-looking Mayans” who shoot poison darts at the King, Burger King’s ad character, according to the Times. Ads for the chain will appear before 10 different episodes.
Acall to Burger King seeking comment on the partnership with MacFarlane and Google was not returned.
