LOUISVILLE Ky. Texas Roadhouse LLC, based here, has named Radiant Systems Inc. of Alpharetta, Ga., the exclusive point-of-sale-system vendor for the 280-unit, casual-dining chain, according to Radiant.

Radiant said it will provide Texas Roadhouse with the hardware  — P1220 and P1520 POS terminals — to complement the Radiant software now used by the chain, including Aloha TableService POS and MenuLink, an application for managing labor and inventory.

Bill Kent, Texas Roadhouse vice president of information technology, said his company's decision to use Radiant hardware, as well as its software, "demonstrates our confidence in their products and people."
