MOD Pizza does it again. The fast-casual chain nabbed the No. 1 spot for sales growth among Top 200 chains for the second consecutive year, with a 44.7% increase in U.S. systemwide sales in the Latest Year.

Following several years of double-digit growth, MOD — like its closest rival Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza — has established itself as one to watch in the crowded fast-casual pizza market. Blaze joins the Top 200 fastest-growing chain list as well, taking the No. 10 spot.

First Watch, which was the second-fastest-growing Top 200 chain with 33% Latest-Year sales growth, also had the distinction of being one of only three full-service brands in the Top 10 — and the only representative from the troubled Family-Dining segment.

Rounding out this year’s Top 10 list are two cult favorite burger chains, two next-gen Casual-Dining brands and three chains with laser-focused menus, specializing in chicken fingers, sub sandwiches or smoothies.

Despite their differences, these chains are all doing something right. All 10 had Latest-Year growth rates that far exceeded the 3.2% average for all Top 200 chains.

Get a closer look of each of these growing brands.
