Classic takeout dishes reign supreme, according to NPD data
The restaurant delivery market is fast growing and rapidly changing, with new restaurants, third-party players and technologies coming onto the scene all the time.
But some things haven’t changed. According to research from Port Washington, N.Y.-based The NPD Group, the top restaurant foods for delivery are led by classic comfort foods long known for being consumed on the couch.
Here’s a look at the top delivered foods, by sales volume, according to NPD.
