Fogo de Chão is remodeling a number of its older restaurants to create “Next Level Bar” areas that are focused on the Brazilian steakhouse brands’ younger, more Millennial demographic.

The Plano, Texas-based company unveiled the new lounge area in September at its Las Vegas location and has renovated restaurants in Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Houston, Minneapolis and Plano as well as at flagship locations in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil.

Executives said additional locations will be renovated this year throughout 2019 and beyond and include expansions of its Bar Fogo and the Market Table. The décor has also been updated with more contemporary design and Brazilian influences.

The “Next Level Bar Experience” creates a more casual space wehre guests can linger on  leather and fabric couches. The bar also has expanded its culinary cocktails and its whiskey and bourbon menus.

The Bar Fogo menu that features smaller, sharable plates, Brazilian-inspired cocktails and happy hour.

Fogo de Chao has 42 restaurants in the United States, four in Mexico and eight in Brazil.
