As COVID-19 capacity limits increase at its units, BJ’s Restaurants Inc. is expanding its delivery-only virtual Slo Roast brand to more locations and its Beer Club subscription program possibly to Texas and Florida, executives said Thursday.
The Huntington Beach, Calif.-based casual-dining brand recently launched its BJ’s Brewhouse Beer Club to most of its California locations after introducing it in the Sacramento, Calif., market in 2020.
“We continue to be encouraged by the guests interest in and engagement with the program as it is driving both incremental visits and profits,” said Greg Trojan, BJ’s CEO, in a first-quarter earnings call with analysts Thursday.
